Data.Matrix Aesthetics is a compilation of visual explorations within the sonic universe. While encompassing static mediums, it brings together a collection of artworks that offer distinct interpretations of Data.Matrix — a composition by the audiovisual artist Ryoji Ikeda. Despite predominantly relying on deterministic systems rooted in the analysis of sound components, the resulting outputs manifest themselves as a series of abstract and nonconventional portraits.
