MGF — Magnetic Glyph Field is the result of a project that arises from the opportunity to explore non-computational generative techniques for the creation of visual artefacts. Through the intersection of tangibility and typography, this mini-competitive game whose rules are based on some typographic nuances uses the anatomy of a font drawn specifically for the purpose. The result of the match, presented as the output of the generative process, is therefore constructed indirectly, as the goal during experimentation is to defeat the opponent rather than create an original artefact on its own.
